First and foremost, a very Happy Birthday to Florence Welch who today turns 26!
Hopefully she is having a day of rest after an epic performance at Reading and Leeds festival this weekend - which included her getting drenched in a sudden downpour while performing Spectrum. Typical English weather in August.
Of course, she embraced this slight set back in a graceful, Florence-esque manner (jumping around and shaking her hair a lot).
I am still yet to find a better live performer than Florence. During an intimate gig in Birmingham after the release of her first album 'Lungs' I was entranced by her sweet nature and the crowd stood in awe of her incredible voice that somehow sounded even better than the album version. No miming for Florence, unlike others that shall not be named (Cheryl Cole).
She succeeded herself at Reading and Leeds, however, and minus her soaking red locks, she looked absolutely stunning in a gown that couldn't be further from festival appropriate.
This gothic inspired dress from the Marina Qureshi A/W '12 collection reflects Florence's eclectic style down to a T and encompassed the perfect combination of femininity, sultriness and mystery... Opting for flats was definitely a sensible choice given the weather conditions.
The fashion icon has wowed style critics with this dramatic number and impressed her music fans with an equally dramatic performance.
This is why she is BFF'S with Beyonce...
